The Canaltime concept was conceived during the early part of 1997 and the Company launched its first narrowboat, “Barrow Lass” during August of that year. First memberships were completed the following month. Since those initial heady days, the fleet has grown steadily. Currently, 'Canaltime at Sawley Marina' is operating 55 high quality narrowboats from this most welcoming of canalside locations. We are open all year round and are used to meeting the experienced narrowboater as well as the complete novice.
